2010 Election Results
The results of the 2010 Washington State General Election for the candidates and ballot measures endorsed by Washington Conservation Voters.
Despite a hard-hitting 2010 election nationwide for incumbents, Washington voters maintained environmental majorities in both the state House and Senate.
Read our 2010 press release about our election gains in this tough political year.
It was volunteer hours, financial contributions, and the upmost support from the environmental community that allowed Washington Conservation Voters to mount its biggest political operation in memory, directly contacting over 125,000 voters in the last 10 days of the campaign. We knocked on doors with candidates every weekend across the state, held phonebanks weekly in Seattle, and helped candidates with their campaign strategies.

"Having the support of Washington
Conservation Voters was extremely helpful in my campaign for Seattle City
Council. In a city like Seattle,
being able to legitimately call myself the environmental candidate was a huge
help, and helped me reach out to many voters on this important
issue." -Tim Burgess, Seattle City Councilman
