Endorsed: Tom Vance, Sammamish City Council, Position 3
Washington Conservation Voters has endorsed Tom Vance’s campaign for Sammamish City Council. Vance understands environmental issues affecting Sammamish and currently serves as the Chair of the Sammamish Planning Commission and formally served as Chair of the Sammamish Park Bond Advisory Committee. He has been an active advocate for the East Lake Sammamish Trail and for parks and recreation that enhance the whole community. Vance has a strong vision for Sammamish of a suburban community with parks and recreation, a healthy environment, better roads and transit, and civic and cultural opportunities and will work hard to achieve that vision. We think he’ll be a great addition to the council and a strong environmental vote.
