Firefighter Keven Rojecki has a track record of pushing for tougher environmental standards to protect Tacoma and Washington families. As a Legislative Liaison for the Washington State Council of Fire Fighters, Rojecki was heavily involved with the Washington State passage of the first state ban on brominated flame retardants in the nation in 2007. He supports bold action for more transportation choices like a streetcar and light rail system and is committed to working with the new Office of Sustainability to create initiatives to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Rojecki will be an excellent addition to the Council.
