The King Conservation District Board of Supervisors has changed its elections process. Every person needs to re-register prior to voting, which will take place either online prior to March 15th or in person on March 15th.

1. Why is King Conservation District important?
The District oversees roughly $6 million environmental dollars. That money goes to fund programs that clean up streams and waterways, restores habitat, educates farmers and assists city projects that will promote the overall health of their communities

King County Conservation Voters endorsed Eric Nelson for KCD Board of Directors. A third-generation farmer with a commitment to environmental stewardship, Eric is the right person for this very important job.
3. What makes this election different?
The 2011 King Conservation District Election is all paperless! This means every registered voter (current residents of King County, check here to make sure you are eligible) will need to re-register.
4. How do I vote?
First, you need to register! Go to the King Conservation District Election website. Follow the instructions on the website. Fill in the required information, print out the Early Voter Application form and fill out all required fields. Most importantly, sign it.
There are three ways to submit this information. You can email it, fax it, or mail it. See the KCD Election website for details on those options. Do this soon! The election ends March 15, 2011, make sure you register with plenty of time to spare.
After KCD has received your registration information, you will be emailed a PIN and online voting instructions. This completes the registration process and you can vote online any time before March 15th.
The only in-person voting opportunity will take place March 15, 2011, from 9 am to 9 pm at 1107 SW Grady Way, Suite 130, Renton, WA.
