Bob Sheckler has been a strong environmental voice throughout his 16 years on the Council. As the current mayor, he has worked to protect the people of Des Moines from the negative environmental effects of the airport, including toxic runoff and noise pollution. Because he prioritizes the health of Puget Sound, Bob will continue to focus on preventing pollution of local streams and creeks.
