Claudia Balducci is an effective environmental leader in Bellevue. Some of her environmental priorities as a Councilmember are improving Bellevue’s park system and protecting salmon habitat. Claudia has consistently supported transit on the Eastside, and currently serves as chair of the Puget Sound Regional Council Transportation Policy Board and member of the Sound Transit Board of Directors, as well as having formerly chaired the Eastside Transportation Partnership. She will continue to advocate for an economical, productive light rail alignment that maintains the ecological integrity of the Mercer Slough.
