Endorsed: Dan Pike (Bellingham Mayor)

As Mayor of Bellingham, Dan Pike has shown strong leadership during tough times.  Dan recently became the first elected leader to take a bold stand against the proposed coal port at Cherry Point which would have serious social, economic and environmental impacts on Bellingham and the entire state. He has also worked to restore transit services to Bellingham residents and has stood up to the county to protect the community's right to clean drinking water from Lake Whatcom.
