Since his election in 2007, Joshua Schaer has proved himself as an environmental champion on the Council. He proposed and enthusiastically promoted the successful Styrofoam ban, and is currently working to sponsor legislation that will expand green development incentives. Joshua has also used his remarkable environmental knowledge to influence Issaquah’s policies in areas such as stormwater management and complete streets. He will continue to strive to make the environment the top priority of the Issaquah City Council.
