Endorsed: Ryan Mello (Tacoma City Council)

Ryan Mello is considered one of the top environmental leaders in the Tacoma-Pierce County community.  He helped form the Pierce County Sustainability Coalition (a local version of the statewide Environmental Priorities Coalition) and in 2008-09 Ryan served as Co-Chair of the City’s Green Ribbon Task Force on Climate Change producing the City’s plan for addressing global climate change.  Ryan is currently the Pierce County Director for the Cascade Land Conservancy and has served on the Metropolitan Park Board and the Pierce Conservation Voters Board, the local WCV chapter.
