Jake Fey
Jake Fey has led a number of successful initiatives on the Tacoma City Council to make Tacoma a more sustainable city, including reducing the city's waste stream. He was previously endorsed for a legislative bid, because of his long history of championing the environment. He has been a strong advocate for transit and HOV lanes, and he has helped lead work to increase energy efficiency in the city and statewide. Lauren Walker, Jake's opponent, is also good on our issues, but her track record is considerably weaker – supporting Jake makes sense for an organization committed to environmental champions.
