Endorsed: Justice Steve Gonzalez for Washington Supreme Court (Position 8)

Justice Gonzalez is a relative newcomer to the Washington Supreme Court, appointed by Governor Gregoire in 2012 to position 8. He received the Outstanding Judge of the Year Award from the Washington State Bar Association in 2011. He has been especially involved with international law and Latino/a issues during his legal career.  Justice Gonzalez is passionate about providing open access to the justice system for all.  He is dedicated to the principles of ethics, integrity, and access and wants to continue to bring these values to our state’s highest court.
