Clark Conservation Voters is a local chapter of Washington Conservation Voters.
We are a grassroots organization powered by individuals who know environmental leaders are important for environmental progress. We must work to protect Clark County's natural beauty and the health of the residents of our county.
Clark Conservation Voters has a history of environmental success. Most recently, in 2007, we celebrated three big wins in Vancouver and Camas.
-
Clark County residents re-elected environmental leaders Tim Leavitt and Larry Smith to the Vancouver City Council.
-
Paul Dennis won overwhelmingly for City of Camas Mayor

“As a young person, I feel compelled to fight against climate change, but I do
so not out of fear but out of unfailing hope, out of a definitive optimism that
we can stop climate change and in the process bring about a wealth of positive
change for everyone on this planet. The political system we have in place may
not be perfect, but if we're going to make real change, we're going to have to
work with it. Our politicians need to know that our earth is non-negotiable and
we need strong action now." -JP Kemmick, Pierce Conservation Voters
