Endorsed: No on Initiative 1033
Initiative 1033 is Tim Eyman's latest attack on government revenues that are critical for environmental protection and clean-up. Our communities and our kids deserve better than I-1033.
Endorsed: Kim Allen, Redmond City Council, Position 4
Kim Allen is running for her second term to the Redmond City Council and has earned the endorsement of Washington Conservation Voters for both campaigns. Her first term on the Council saw Redmond enact several strong environmental policies, including adding carbon footprint questions to their SEPA checklist and, if re-elected, she is eager to begin work on Redmond's new sustainability initiative, which includes the rehabilitation of their urban forest as a goal to be measured.
Endorsed: Sally Bagshaw, Seattle City Council, Position 4
Sally Bagshaw is running for Seattle City Council because of her passion and experience to address the challenges and opportunities our city faces. She has over 30 years of professional experience with expertise in environmental issues, public safety, transportation and management. If elected, Bagshaw’s immediate priorities include working to create a healthy, diverse economy that encourages and creates incentives for green jobs and smart, transit-oriented development, Puget Sound cleanup and a commitment to climate change action, affordable housing and parks and open space for all.
