Bainbridge Conservation Voters
Bainbridge Conservation Voters, a chapter of Washington Conservation Voters
Bainbridge Conservation Voters is a local chapter of Washington Conservation Voters.
Bainbridge Conservation Voters works to support and encourage environmentally responsible elected officials and candidates for public office to ensure the Island keeps its natural beauty.
Close-knit neighborhoods and the residents' activism have made Bainbridge Conservation Voters a powerful voice on the Island. Thanks to Bainbridge Conservation Voters and hardworking individuals, the Island is celebrating huge 2007 Bainbridge Island City Council race wins! All endorsed City Council candidates were elected:
• Bainbridge voters re-elected environmental champion Bill Knobloch
• Kim Brackett survived attacks from extreme groups to win big
• Environmental leaders Barry Peters and Hilary Franz win unopposed elections
Monthly Meetings
Bainbridge Conservation Voters meet every third Monday of the month at 7pm. Everyone is welcome! Look for each month’s meeting location in the Happening Now section.
Get Involved
Join Bainbridge Conservation Voters and make a difference in your community. Continued development on our shores, increased traffic on our streets and the potential of a water crisis could jeopardize the future of the Island. Help us endorse candidates, elect candidates and advance local environmental solutions. All of us can be environmental champions.

"Voting for the environment is important to me because I want to live in a state that understands and respects the value of nature and serves as a good example for other states to follow." - Sarah Holm
