Tom Albro

Tom Albro is running for the Seattle Port Commission to bring his engineering, business, and civic leadership background to the issues facing the Port.  He believes that an economically competitive, environmentally sustainable, and well-governed Port is essential for our community's long- term health.  The Port of Seattle has established a goal of becoming “the greenest, cleanest, most energy efficient port in the country,” and we believe that Albro is the right candidate for this position to help meet those goals.  If elected, Albro will encourage the Port to be environmentally sustainable by reducing impact, being a good neighbor, and lowering greenhouse gas emissions, while improving competitiveness as a center of trade, working to grow our industrial base and serve our fishing fleet. Tom Albro has demonstrated a strong vision for the future of the Port of Seattle and we believe he’ll be a strong voice for the environment on the Commission.
