Endorsed: Michael Marchand, Bellevue City Council, Pos. 6

Michael Marchand is running for Bellevue City Council and has earned the endorsement of Washington Conservation Voters.  Marchand has a long record of public service, having worked for the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services and for Governor Gary Locke.  Marchand is a strong supporter of light rail and will work hard to develop a strategy that gets cars off of the roads and starts bringing alternative methods of transportation to the forefront. Marchand has strong vision for Bellevue’s future and we think his background of working in and with local, state and federal government has well prepared him to moving the city forward.
