Great Peninsula Future Festival
This annual festival held by Sustainable Kitsap will feature bluegrass, comedy acts, many local bands and musicians, and over a hundred exhibitors showcasing green technology, green products, environmental education, experimental vehicles and local handmade crafts.

The sustainability-themed Great Peninsula Future Festival is held annually by Sustainable Kitsap, an all-volunteer nonprofit community service organization. The goal of the festival is to bring citizens, educators, environmentalists and civic leaders together in an atmosphere of fun to help their communities move toward a more sustainable future.
Fiddles and banjos will fill the air Saturday as several groups bring the heritage of homegrown, American music to Kitsap County. The “Festival Within a Festival” will feature such bands as the Cascade Mountain Boys, a northwest staple in bluegrass music, with instrument workshops conducted by national flat-picking champion, Roger Ferguson, and Bluegrass Hall of Famer, Terry Enyeart. In addition to Saturday’s bluegrass, the festival will again feature comedy, acrobatics, juggling, magic shows, and colorful parades by the popular New Old Time Chautauqua vaudeville troupe.
The festival will take place Saturday, July 31st, from 10am until 6pm and Sunday, August 1st, from 10am until 5pm at the Kitsap County Fairgrounds.
$5 for Adults, $4 for Seniors/Students/Military, FREE for 18 and under with paid adult
