Livable Snohomish County Summit

If you're a Snohomish County voter who's concerned about livability and want to know how the candidates for County Council will take on this issue, then come to the Livable Snohomish County Summit on Saturday, October 10.

The theme of the summit is “Climate Change and Land Use:  Planning for a Livable Snohomish County." Snohomish Conservation Voters will have a table at this event, so come say hello!

When: Saturday, October 10th from 9:00am-4:00pm
Where: Snohomish County PUD (2320 California Street, Everett)

Space is limited, please RSVP to reserve a seat and lunch by contacting Kristin Kelly at kristin(at)futurewise(dot)org or 425.923.8625. Please include names of attendees, addresses, phone numbers and emails, so the agenda may be sent out online.

The summit will be held in three short blocks:

In the morning, there will be engaging presentations on climate change, transportation, transit oriented development, urban centers, water issues, and growth and development.

Lunch will be provided and discussions are encouraged.

After lunch there will be a 2 hour candidate debate with questions from both the organizers as well as the audience. If you have a question about livability you would like to submit for the candidate debate, please send them to Kristin Kelly before September at kristin(at)futurewise(dot)org.
