Wild and Scenic Film Festival in Seattle

Friends of the Cedar River Watershed (FCRW), a local nonprofit, is bringing the National Wild and Scenic Film Festival to Seattle on September 23rd and 24th. The festival will feature mostly independent films covering a range of topics from climbing expeditions in Africa to sustainable farming practices in the United States.

Friends of the Cedar River Watershed (FCRW), a local nonprofit, is bringing the National Wild and Scenic Film Festival to Seattle on September 23rd and 24th. The featured films are produced by small and often independent filmmakers from around the world.  The film selection featured at the Seattle Wild and Scenic runs the gamut from impassioned to whimsical and covers a range of topics from climbing expeditions in Africa to sustainable farming practices in the United States and surfing on the Snake River.

The Film Festival will be held at the Seattle Patagonia store from 7-9pm on September 23rd and The Northwest Film Forum from 6:30pm to 8:30pm on September 24th.  Tickets are $8 in advance and $10 at the door.  Advance tickets and contest information are available at www.cedarriver.org, Brown Paper Tickets and at the Patagonia store.
