Washington Conservation Voters Endorses Secretary of State Sam Reed
Reed’s strong conservation ethic earns an early endorsement
Washington Conservation Voters, the statewide political voice of the environment, announced today its early-endorsement of Secretary of State Sam Reed (R) in his bid for re-election.
Seattle, WA ~ Washington Conservation Voters, the statewide political voice of the environment, announced today its early-endorsement of Secretary of State Sam Reed (R) in his bid for re-election.
“Secretary of State Sam Reed is a conservationist who works to utilize his office and his position as a leader for our state to promote environmental protection,” said Kurt Fritts, Executive Director of Washington Conservation Voters. “Washington Conservation Voters has enjoyed a great relationship with him, and we have a lot of respect for the way in which he has managed our electoral system.”
As a political organization, Washington Conservation Voters is mindful of having sound election systems and democratic processes that encourage voter participation. Secretary of State Reed has done an admirable job of ensuring just that while also being an advocate for protecting our environmental heritage and promoting sustainability within his own office.
Washington Conservation Voters endorsed Secretary Reed in 2000 and 2004.
