Let’s work together to elect Karen Howe, Rituja Indapure and Karen McKnight to Sammamish City Council!

Please join Washington Conservation Voters for a doorbell day in support of three incredible environmental candidates for Sammamish City Council on Saturday, October 26th, at 10 am. All levels of volunteer experience are welcome. Staff will be there to assist any and all who need help. We will provide coffee, tea, and treats at our pre-canvass gathering with the candidates before we head out to hit the doors.

Karen Howe is a businesswoman, community leader and mom, who’s environmental priorities include championing parks and natural spaces, enhancing public transportation options and providing pedestrian and bicyclist safe routes. Learn more about her campaign here: https://electkarenhowe.com/

Rituja Indapure serves on the City of Sammamish Planning Commission, Sammamish YMCA Advisory Board and the Washington State Women’s Commission. On city council, she will provide homeowners with attractive options for reducing energy consumption. promote healthy trails and green spaces, and aim for Sammamish to be net neutral in consumption of energy. Karen McKnight has 39 years of living in and loving Sammamish. She’s excited to bring her business experience and leadership as Chamber of Commerce president to Sammamish City Council and to protect our way of life: our environment, tree canopy, open spaces, water quality, and parks. She pledges to vote for transit solutions, housing choices and local policies that address climate change and plastic pollution.
