Oil Spill Contingency Plan Public Hearing

September 17, 19, 24, 26 : 1:00 PM
Everett, Spokane, Vancouver, and Webinar

Right now the Washington Department of Ecology is updating their Oil Spill Contingency Plan, but they are not going far enough. This plan requires companies moving oil to have detailed spill-response plans that address the specific threats of tar sands crude oil.

Unfortunately, early drafts of Ecology’s Oil Spill Contingency Plan are inadequate and leave us at-risk of a catastrophic oil spill.

RSVP to join us for one of the upcoming public hearings. Together we can tell the Department of Ecology to protect Washington’s communities and environment from oil spills!
