Pancakes over Pipelines | Community Fundraiser

Saturday, November 23, 2019 : 10 AM - 12 PM
Ballard Elks Lodge #827, 6411 Seaview Ave NW, Seattle, WA 98117

Join our community fundraiser for Pull Together to raise money for the Tsleil Waututh, Stk’emlupsemc te Secwepemc, Coldwater, and Squamish Nation lawsuits against the Trans Mountain pipeline and tanker expansion. These Indigenous legal challenges may be our best shot at stopping this toxic tar sands project in its tracks!

Come eat pancakes with us and hear from Indigenous leaders in the fight to stop TMX. Speakers will include Rueben George of the Tsleil-Waututh Nation and Tlakwasikan Khelsilem, a Squamish Councilor and spokesperson.

Please RSVP for this event in advance so we can provide enough pancakes for everyone.

We will have pancakes for all dietary restrictions along with lots of toppings, coffee, and tea!

This community fundraiser is a collaborative effort with Pull Together, Protectors of the Salish Sea, 350 Seattle, Sierra Club WA, Washington Environmental Council, and more.
