Rebecca Wolfe

Position running for: Snohomish County Public Utility District (PUD) Commissioner District 2

Rebecca is a former educator with decades of experience who as been active in her community serving on many boards and commissions including the Edmond Economic Development Commision and City of Edmonds Tree Board.

Unlike her opponent, Rebecca has the support and experience necessary to be an effective and thoughtful PUD Commissioner who understands the needs and priorities of her community.

She is running to increase fiscal responsibility at the PUD, as well as promote clean energy sources, and evidence-based energy policy. As PUD Commissioner, she will build public trust and support funding for programs to protect the health and financial well-being of low and fixed income ratepayers.

Mary Rollins

Mary Rollins has experience as a small business owner and 10+ years of leadership experience in nonprofit organizations. She is running to be your PUD Commissioner to ensure utilities are managed in “the most equitable, sustainable, and environmentally proactive way possible.”

As a Commissioner, Mary will diversify the energy portfolio of the PUD to include more renewable energy and make it more accessible to ratepayers, while keeping rates affordable. Unlike her opponent whose background is in the oil and gas industry, she sees this position as an opportunity to have a real impact when it comes to building a clean energy economy and mitigating the impacts of climate change.

Mary also understands the hardships people have in making ends meet and the important role that PUD’s play in mitigating energy costs and providing programs to assist ratepayers in Snohomish County.
